~~~UpDaTeS!!!~~~
Sighhhh.......fancy starting this post with a sigh! Anyway, been wanting to post for the longest time ever liao. Never really have the time. And for those of you who are regular reader (IF ANY AT ALL.....:D), here's the update.
March has always been a busy month for me. Year end stock take. After the promotion, I now holds even more responsiblity and needless to say, I'm the OIC for this year's stock take again! And guess what? I have only 1 week left to do all necessary pre-stock take preparations. And guess what again? I still have tonnes to do. Oh well, I shall not go into all the details.
Finally decided to engage an ad hor domestic helper. She's coming next Sunday morning. $10/hrs for minimum 4hrs. We thought it was alright. Least we have more time to rest over the weekends. I intend for her to come at least twice a month. Maybe we can decide whether or not to engage a full time maid after all.
Ady seems to be pretty much under control now. She's starting to listen to me. In fact I feel that she seems quite attached to me. She follows wherever I go lor. I'm just a bit worried about her teething problem. She seems to be changing teeth now and on one ocassion her tooth fell off and she was bleeding a bit from it. Then another time, her gum was bleeding from biting onto something. Not sure if that was normal also. But I think she's should be alright since she's still as active. She's getting bigger too.
As for my precious baby, she's getting on with the pregnancy pretty well too. Things are starting to fall in place. She's no longer suffering from morning sicknesses as most would already have read from her blog. :D The baby is rather stable now but we are still not taking the risk so she still got to be careful with her movements and all. We are seeing the gynae again this afternoon. Each time we see the gynae, we see our baby too coz he would do an ultrasound on her to look at the baby and take measurement to ensure that the baby is growing.
Two more months and I will be back to school again. Yes, one more module to clear before I am awarded with my Bachelor Degree. On top of that, the company is sending me for an International specialised Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management. I guess I'm going to be sticking to this industry then. So technically speaking, by the end of this year I should be more academically equipped. I will have a full degree and a specialised diploma on top of my existing Higher diploma. If all goes well with my existing company, I am expecting another pay rise towards the end of this year becoz my designation does not match my current pay at the moment. Based on industry standard, I think I'm about $200-$400 short. Of course I am smart enough not to mention the industry standard here so that I will reveal my current pay indirectly lar. :D
My brudder! I'm worried for him. I can't say that he's at the peak of his career now even though he is already up to his neck becoz I see so much more potential, at least from a business perspective point of view. But I guess for now he could only do so much since he's only born with 2 eyes, 2 hands and 2 feet. I just feel that its such a pity that his skills in photography is not a product which you can run a production line to mass produce in order to capture the market share. He needs a breakthrough. Not so much in terms of his skills but more in terms of the business opportunity. Of course, his career started with a strong passion in photography, particularly wedding photography, howver that should not stop him from carving a career out of it. Some may think that I might be too money-minded to change a passion into a money-making business instead. I'm not lor. It is purely a case of 'might-as-well' situation. And of course not forgetting that with greater income from his photography, more and better equipment can be acquisited for greater grounds breaking shots. I could already see success in him. I never fail to feel proud when I tell people that I have a buddy that is a great wedding photograher and hastily direct them to his professional website to view his many great work.
As for myself, I live a blissful life with my beloved wife who is about to give birth a the fruit of our love in a few months time. I have no complains, no regrets, nothing more that I could ever ask for. All I'm asking for is for us to keep what we have now for as long as we both shall live.
